My question is whether this game is WEGO or IGOUGO in turn-base play style. The Matrix game link says it is IGOUGO. But they also say the same thing about BoA and WITP, both of which are clearly WEGO. So, can someone (smarter that Matrix) confirm FL's turn style?

It is sequential, turn based, a system, one that is very well suited to the scale, the relatively large number of units and the weekly turns.  The tactical battles are also sequential turns (with reaction fire when trigggered) which again is appropriate (in my opinion) given the rather large battles that can occur.  I would reccommend trying this game.  Even if you prefer simultaneous execution, I think that you will still find it to be very good.

OK. So it really is IGOUGO. Thanks. And yes, I do believe, all other things being equal, that simultaneous execution is better. But not for every situation or every game.
