ORIGINAL: Cathartes Excellent work. Ship art is reaching new heights. I have to say, I'm looking forward to future iterations that layer on historic paint/camo. Carry on! Future iterations won't come from this project; individuals, perhaps. Historic paint?? historic as to when?; (a bete noir of mine, pardon me while I die laughing). I don't think there are enuf slots for 'historical accuracy', you'd need an "average" of three separate slots for damn near every warship (which I think it's so funny). To do your cammo mods, get paint.net (it's a free DL). Open a blank ship and do an alpha blend overlay with multiple colors (whitish, darkish, bluish (funny, you don't look bluish)), using brush size 4-6, and alpha percent between 25-40. It takes about two minutes to do the overlay, once you have chosen your colors (maybe by looking at a 1944 photo). You can prepare 20 to 30 different camo mods in an hour, and then play the 'old switcheroo' game depending on how historically accurate you are. Anyway, try it. It's a lot of fun, and you can get your ships to look how you want them to. JWE
