Having installed the expanded CHS map I then downloaded Halseys comprehensive ship art pack but the numbers dont match up?! What have I done wrong.....The Ansides start at 0172 but the CHS at AnSide001? Any help massively appreciated![:D]

Andy_PZ,

Some of the new allied ship classes in CHS use the BMP # 1 -> 171. For example the Very Large Tanker uses #75. Are the CHS scenarios working? If you click on a ship and there is no art for them WitP will crash.

You still need to DL the CHS graphics package first.[;)]
Then my upgrades.

I am working on a full file package that will include every art file.
This is taking time because of a redundancy in bitmaps with same class ships that appear later in the war that have different bitmap locations.

I'm currently going through every ship that arrives as a reinforcement.
This is taking a lot of time.[;)]

Hi Halsey

Thanks very much for all the hard work you are putting in. I loved the last package and am really looking forward to the new one.

Very best regards

Carl

Thanks.[;)]

Still wondering why the same classes of ships are alocated different bitmaps.
Seems like a lot of work creating images that were already done.

You'll like the next sets when they are done.
A credit to all of the graphic artists that have contributed their work.

Maybe to allow each refit to have a differnt look? It would allow for a post refit ship to have a different mast structure, different radars, or like some RN cruisers, to remove a turret and add extra AA weapons.

Halsey -> RE: CHS versus Stock (1/26/2007 7:07:45 AM)

Possible Dixie.
Though I think only Subchasers early stock scenario upgrade incorporated this.
He did this over 1 1/2 years ago.

I don't think CHS was designed to show the uprades with later ship bitmaps.

Any CHS designers out there to verify this claim?[:)]

I am impressed with all the tremendous art upgrades you lads keep posting! Imagine my frustration at not being able to implement it (at this moment)....grrrr

Keep up the good work fellas!

Have you also downloaded and installed the CHS art package? it should be installed before you start adding art mods.
