In the scheme of things, my observations are very minor, but I figured that I would point them out for future consideration.

Being new to the game, I am only using Quick Play, and the associated Stock plays, which are actually very good to get a feel for the game. However, I did notice some idiosyncrasies, which may not be prevalent across all plays, but only the ones that I have observed to date.

1. On Punt Returns, the Punter always seems to kick the ball over the head of the Returnee, making him go back for the ball, retrieve it, and tackled immediately!

2. The Center is in a three-point stance! I suggest that the Center have his own graphics to have his hands on the ball for the snap.

3. With tackles, I have only seen the ball carrier bounce backwards when the defensive players hit them. Many power runners run “downhill” and, for the most part, fall forward as the Defense drags them to the ground. From a graphics perspective, you might want to consider scenarios of falling forward on the tackle, especially for the stronger runners. Alternatively, MF might randomly select one of several tackle scenarios, falling forward, bouncing back, etc.

That is an old play.  The new default punt return will have a deep player.  Back in PDS 1.0, it was difficult to set a player deep.

Many pro linemen snap with one hand, but it would be nice to have an option of a 4 point stance.

At this point, linemen stance and spacing is preset.  I don't have information regarding future changes in this area.

I'm not sure which tackles are associated with which animation shown.  David will likely have more animations down the road in future versions of the game.  Animations take a good deal of time.

Marauders, I appreciate the feedback.  BTW, you do an excellent job staying on top of the postings, and giving timely and comprehensive feedback.  It is really refreshing to be part of a Forum that stays on top of the issues posted by its participants.

Regarding your response, you state that the Punt Return play I discussed is an old play, and that the new default “punt return” will have a deep player.  Does that mean that there is a new default play in the works, but not released yet?  If yes, when might we expect to see this new play?

Thanks, in advance, for the time you are spending on this issue.

Yes, there should be revamped default playbooks after the roster position changes are made.

The reason they are not changed now is because we want to make sure the new playbooks are all based on the same set of formations from the Playmaker Tools, and I won't complete the tools until I can make sure the plays from the roster are placed correctly.

Thank you for the positive and constructive feedback.
