since we have different ideas over the issue of taking norway. http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=1447956&mpage=1&key=?
JanSorensen and i decided to start a new game about it. we agree that both of us don't violate the neutrality of Norway. i'm very appreciate his kind offer, after checking his tournament record, i know he's very good, looking forward to the war[:)]
now the first turn, it supposes to be quite a germany lucky turn , since jan don't mind it, as Turkey decided to support Germany, Hitler is pleased. no invasion, he promises Turkey~ of course, no loss in west Poland[:D]

emperor in the east decided to do sth, or even mossolini would look down upon us, he said. so we did attack changsha, but failed...... but chinses casulty is huge, can he hold it fast the next turn? we'll see[;)]

Wish you luck Jan, this is a young pupil of mine hehe. He lost 5 consecutive games against me as Axis, but he's gotten a lot better. This strategy is a close repeat of what he's using against me in a current game. Lots of Axis artillery units ;)

I hope for a splendid game. As can be seen from Schury´s posts not all that much has happened yet - but I am sure it soon will. As always I hope for a fun game with lots of dirty tricks.

thanks for jan's early get up. we start the game now, which i think in his place six o'clock in the morning.[;)] this turn is very quiet, that's just the quiet before the storm~ hope i'll let he know that soon[;)]

he should be very pleased that Japan helps his factories jumped to *3[:D]

As can be seen I answered the 1940 invasion of Russia with a WA landing in Spain. Its imperative that I bring the WA forces to put pressure on Germany and I feel that Spain is both the safest and strongest pressure I can find. Russia will certainly crumble and fall if I dont manage to get a real second front for the Germans. With a strong enough WA in the west I can even survive losing most or all of Russia but its a close race.

I agree with you 100% Jan. I am in a similiar game with him, it's now Su42, and he made a lot of progress up til now. Russia is still holding, but the Japs made a huge amount of progress. The game is really quite close. and I regret not opening a front in Portugal. I invaded Norway in Fa40 instead, and then Sweden. Portugal->Spain seems like a better option... but perhaps they both have their ups and downs.

The imperial English troops conquer .. err liberate Western France. The attack had a 75% chance of success and did indeed succeed although at slightly worse casulties than predicted from my point of view. I am certainly not complaining though as getting the area was the important thing.

Stalin has almost stopped screaming about a second front - almost.
I obviously repair a French factory so that the sons of France may once more fight the Boches.

I forgot to take a screen shot but most likely Schury can provide one.

and my attack in the east was not good at all, two tanks got autohited![:@] i think we'd call them autohissia instead of russia......high evasion seems useless while facing militia autohits[:@][:@][:@]
seems like above 80% of my troops are autohited......
the only thing go on well is the proceeding of japan cause no defence there[&:]

autohis going on, but also quite lucky that i survived, very impressive picture[:D] 79 attack, very high score in early time like 1941, and survive from it is another miracle[;)]

the third empire expanded to the utmost i think, we'd better take a strategic denfence attitude?[&:] hoping the WA doesn't proceed too fast[:(][:(]
