wj10 -> Download Problem (6/20/2007 11:00:24 PM)
|
I purchased the game last Friday and still have not be able to download it. I e-mailed Matrix customer support on Saturday morning and still have not received a reply. I e-mailed Digital River customer service on Sunday and received the following reply: "We show the order was downloaded almost 1000 times, we are not be able to increase download for this order." After a few more e-mails I send this: --------------------------------------------------------------- I do not want a refund. All I want is to successfully download one copy of the product I purchased from Matrix Games on June 14, 2007. There was a problem at the Matrix Games site when I made my purchase and attempted to download the product. Please see the following two items on the Matrix Games forum which describe the problem that I and other people were having: http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=1485012 http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=1484897 Also I was using the flashget download manager (http://www.flashget.com/index_en.htm) to download the file. I am not sure what flashget does when there is a problem downloading a file but this could explain the "almost 1000 times" number. If you have any more information available other than an "attempted download count" I am sure you will see that none of the download attempts completed successfully or even started for that matter. --------------------------------------------------------------- and received this on Monday: --------------------------------------------------------------- Thank you for contacting the Online Store. The download is no longer available but our refunds team is looking into doing a refund and reorder as soon as possible. You will be emailed as soon as a resolution has been reached. ----------------------------------------------------------------- I have no idea how long it will take Digital River to resolve this or what their final resolution will be. Can anyone at Matrix Games help me resolve this? Thank you for your assistance. Bill Jackson
