ORIGINAL: PJL Unfortunately this appears not to be such a good bargin after all, as the game in the UK store is £17.99, plus £2.04 for the digital download 2 year guarentee costs. Which surprises me, considering many games in the UK sell the same price pound for dollar as in the US. I'm not quite sure I follow - are you saying the game should be priced at £34.99? What I'm saying is that it's normal practice for games to be priced at £40 in the UK (especially in the high street shops), whereas in the US, they sell for $40. This isn't just limited to games, it's also true for computers - often a computer priced at £1000 here would be as good as one priced at $1000 in the US. Ditto for things like CDs, DVDs, etc. I certainly do not want Matrix to raise their UK prices though, as they do seem to be about right compared to US prices, according to the current exchange rate.
