Looking for a Japanese opponent. Am currently in a PBEM with the BB mod as the Japanese and looking to try my hand as the allies. Prefer BB mod but am prepared to try CHS experimental 159 (No USSR Fleet) or 160 (USSR Fleet) Looking for someone who prefers a more historical style / pace of play. Suggest following house rules, all are open to discussion and prefer to discuss any issues that arise. It is important to be comfortable with the game as we will be laying for years. I can usually do a turn a day, sometimes more, occasionally less. Would rate myself as an average player at best......lol 1. No 4-engine bomber under 15,000 feet, except for ASW / Naval Search missions or Strategic Bombing missions 2. No B-29 anti-ship 3. No strategic bombing of captured resources or Chinese resources 4. Allied TF’s at sea at start may issue new orders, but may not load troops. No other allied units outside China may be given any orders 5. PT boats may not be combined with any other type ship. Except when transferring to another base. Max size per TF is 6 boats and no more then 2 TF’s any one base. 6. LCU's belonging to the Kwangtung Command may not leave Manchuria unless PP's are spent to change their command. 7. No rearming TF's in ports smaller than 3 without an AE present. 8. "Be realistic" with cutting off troops for surrender. A whole Btn would be sufficient to cut off a unit, but a few squads = no. 9. Play a "gentleman's game". If you think it might be gamey, it probably is, so don't do it. Sub Doctrines = off FOW = on Allied damage control = on Historical 1st turn = no PDU = on Vary Setup = off Dec 7 suprise = on Reinforcements = +/- 15 days Auto sub ops = off Expand at start = off Automatic upgrades = off Accept replacements = off Turn Cycle = 1 day/per turn
