Excellent stuff Stefan, maybe this info. can help; I used to play the Micro-Armor series of table-top miniatures back in the 80's. These were 1/160 scale lead reproductions of tanks, trucks, specialist teams, etc..They were offered for either modern day or WW2 combat. The rules for Micro-Armor were found in small booklets, one of which is titled " Ultra Modern Army Lists and Organizations; Volume 1" It was created by Bruce Rea-Taylor of Oxton England. Inside you have the OOB from all major European nations, as well as the vehicles and equipments used. Volume 2 lists the same but involves the Middle-East , Africa and I believe, South America. Anyway, hope this helps some, included is an example of the Canadian Army OOB, as pertained by the author. CMBG ( Canad. Mech. Battle Group) Battlegroup HQ- 1 M577 carrying 1 Command Group...388 pts 1 M577 carrying 1 Rifle Group, 1 LMG, 1 MAW 1 M577 carrying 1 AOP Command Group ( arty spotter) May add up to 2 Leopards C1.........................................420 pts/ea Up to 3 Tank Company HQ- 1 Leopard C1 Up to 4 Infantry Company HQ- 2 M113 each carrying 1 Command Group 2 M113 each caqrrying 1 Rifle Group, 1 LMG, 1 MAW Up to 12 Tank Platoons- 4 Leopard C1 etc....it goes on to further define the organisation by stating various exceptions or additions based on original group size, artillery composition and structure, etc... Cheers quote:
ORIGINAL: Legionaer The East German platoon oob is ready for nearly 100 %. I start to create the other EG oob files next week. My target is a Cold War Europe Project, including beside the both german armies the british, the french, the russians, the US, the Warsaw Pact (maybe beside the EG´s the polish forces!) and the NATO (Canada, Netherlands ... if i find enough oob stuff ). Best Regards, Stefan
