Hey Panther,

Ok I'll give him the benefit of the doubt for "frakkin", but I honestly thought the character in question was actually an eight-year-old who randomly blundered into the wrong website/forum, then I realized it's not his chronological age that's the issue, it's his mental maturity, or the lack thereof [:D]

Replying your turn by the way [:)]

Mark, it is more than a "frakkin video game". Most people invest years in a PBEM game, so to find that your opponent has been violating your trust means that you've wasted a substantial portion of your life. This will leave a very bad taste in someone's mouth, and makes it quite hard for him to "forgive and forget".

My PBEM has only reached mid-August '42, and since I average about two hours per turn, this means that I have over 500 hours invested in this one PBEM laready, or $10,000 (if you look at the value of my free time).

Amen. It takes a lot of time to advance so honesty among opponents is the biggest thing.

If you don't have that than... you can kiss the game goodbye.

As for other things well I think he has digged his own grave regarding how people view his actions.
