I too would like to express my thanks to IRONCROM for doing the random draw. Now it is time to drink a couple of bottles of French wine to contemplate the upcoming game...

Bill

karonagames -> RE: European Diplomacy multiplayer (12/22/2007 4:01:42 PM)

Ah, Germany possibly the poisoned chalice, my diplomatic skills will have to be at their finest.

I'm only half-back, and mtvaill isn't going to be back until the 31st. Everyone should feel free to start making allies, and enemies, though...[;)]

mtvaill -> RE: European Diplomacy multiplayer (12/31/2007 8:02:57 PM)

The Italian Foreign Office has returned from holiday, and is currently reviewing all diplomatic communiques received over the last week.

BlackSunshine -> RE: European Diplomacy multiplayer (1/1/2008 1:39:08 AM)

Just touching base to be sure everyone is still here and ready to go.

karonagames -> RE: European Diplomacy multiplayer (1/1/2008 12:51:08 PM)

I think as Germany I have to do the first turn, but I remember reading that Tweber was updating the scenario for the supply issue and the roads around Munich. Has this update been posted?

I also need to update to 1.1 - is the general opinion that is is ok/stable.

If have to upgrade to the new V1.10 patch. there is a European diplamacy version 2 that comes with it.

IRONCROM -> RE: European Diplomacy multiplayer (1/1/2008 6:02:54 PM)

That didn't come out...LOL[8|]
What I mean't to say was...You need to upgrade to the new v1.10 patch to get the updated version of diplamacy.
Also I've been running the new V1.10 since it came out and so far It seems stable to me.

Yes, you should definitely use the updated version in the 1.10 patch. Germany's link to Munich is inserted, and all the units that start with 0% Supply settings have been corrected to 100%.

Then, just start and send along.

karonagames -> RE: European Diplomacy multiplayer (1/1/2008 11:09:21 PM)

OK first turn should be on its way in 48 hours.

Shep -> RE: European Diplomacy multiplayer (1/2/2008 10:56:38 AM)

"Spain has been silent too long."

"This is war."
"This is peace."
"I better go read war-n-peace"

Shep hed's to the chancellor's library!

yoggi75 -> RE: European Diplomacy multiplayer (1/2/2008 12:14:33 PM)

Here on the border between Europe and Asia High Sultan Yoggi awaits first turn.

Hope all your holidays have been great.

karonagames -> RE: European Diplomacy multiplayer (1/2/2008 4:31:12 PM)

1st turn is on it's way.

Just remember everybody it is better to have Germany as a friend and not an enemy.

karonagames -> RE: European Diplomacy multiplayer (1/2/2008 4:36:49 PM)

Correction turn is nearly on its way, I await Mtvaill's email address, as I didn't realise you could not send files via PM system.

BlackSunshine -> RE: European Diplomacy multiplayer (1/2/2008 9:43:49 PM)

I assume everyone is referring to the new 1.1 beta patch?

Looking forward to this game.  Should be a lot of fun (if I dont get wiped out too quick!!!)

yoggi75 -> RE: European Diplomacy multiplayer (1/3/2008 5:18:52 PM)

Hi everybody,
Is the game rolling yet?

Also, a noobish question, is there a way in game to look up the diplomatic status between each and everyone of the factions (at peace/at war)?

yoggi75 -> RE: European Diplomacy multiplayer (1/3/2008 6:01:26 PM)

Btw
How many of you guys have played the board game Diplomacy?
I love that game but it's hard to find the time to play these kind of games nowadays.

I kind of miss the minor nations from the boardgame that I think would add a deeper diplomatic level to this scenario in AT. Like France and Germany agreeing on splitting the low coutries denying Brittain or the race for the balkans usually taking place between Austria-Hungary, Turkey, Italy and Russia. Just my two cents.

BlackSunshine -> RE: European Diplomacy multiplayer (1/3/2008 7:08:45 PM)

Looks like we are on.  I just received the turn, but wont get to it until after work (5pm est).

BlackSunshine -> RE: European Diplomacy multiplayer (1/3/2008 11:43:42 PM)

Just waiting on France's email so I can send the turn.  Maybe we should list our email addresses to make things a bit easier?

JAMiAM -> RE: European Diplomacy multiplayer (1/3/2008 11:52:51 PM)

Oh, and BlackSunshine, perhaps as we do, you can edit your first post, so that we can collect them all in one spot?

BlackSunshine -> RE: European Diplomacy multiplayer (1/3/2008 11:58:25 PM)

Brilliant!

JAMiAM -> RE: European Diplomacy multiplayer (1/4/2008 12:39:53 AM)

Thanks, but the point of me putting my email address in the form that I did, was to avoid having web crawlers and bots collect it for spam mailers. If you would please, change it to some non-active link. Thanks.
