JAMiAM -> RE: European Diplomacy multiplayer (1/12/2008 8:34:06 PM)

According to an email he sent me, BA's apparently having trouble with the email address he gave me, forwarding it to his other email account. I just resent the turn to him.

karonagames -> RE: European Diplomacy multiplayer (1/14/2008 12:20:38 PM)

Apologies for the delay guys, I have been having e-mail problems, and I have been away on business. Turn will go out tonight.

BlackSunshine -> RE: European Diplomacy multiplayer (1/15/2008 7:39:11 PM)

Ummm...

Hows it going BA?

Getting a little antsy here.

karonagames -> RE: European Diplomacy multiplayer (1/15/2008 8:25:42 PM)

turn was sent last night.

mtvaill -> RE: European Diplomacy multiplayer (1/16/2008 12:16:26 AM)

Turn 3 sent to Balkans.

BlackSunshine -> RE: European Diplomacy multiplayer (1/16/2008 1:42:27 AM)

Turn 3 on to France.

chekers_MatrixForum -> RE: European Diplomacy multiplayer (1/16/2008 3:04:00 PM)

Turn 3 to Russia.

yoggi75 -> RE: European Diplomacy multiplayer (1/17/2008 8:40:25 PM)

Turn sent to Spain.

The evil Balkans have launched an attack on Turkish positions along the Bosporus Straight and also advanced into Greece. The attack came without prior warnings or any diplomatic action. The High Sultan plees for the international community to condemn these acts of hostility in harshest possible manner.

Although the attack came as a surprise, the brave turkish soliders not only held their ground but also managed to pull off a very successful counter attack, severly blunting the balkan spearhead.

- this is fun!

Cheers all

03_walk_alot -> RE: European Diplomacy multiplayer (1/17/2008 9:15:41 PM)

Diplomatic pouch sent to scandanavia

A communique to the Belgrade Free Press issued this statement:

"This morning rebels from Turkey, who were unprovoked, attacked Balkan positions along our formerly peaceful mutual borders. In response, counterattacks were launched into Greece and into Turkey proper. News from the front as well as numerous eyewitness accounts dispute the testimony of the Turkish goverment. The goverment of the Balkans has asked for the assistance of it's allies, to punish the Turks for their actions. The world waits..."

I have the turn, and will play it from home in another 10-12 hours. I started playing this game on my desktop, and if I switch to my laptop and play from work, it will generate a wiped log file. However, I can generally turn around the game much faster if I play on the laptop, as I can play it at home, at work, or elsewhere. If there are no objections to the occasional delay, then I will keep playing this game, strictly from home. If there is a desire to minimize delays, then I can switch to the laptop. I don't want to do this though, if there are any concerns about the one-time wiped log message.

What do you guys think?

JAMiAM -> RE: European Diplomacy multiplayer (1/18/2008 7:50:16 AM)

Round 4 to BA. Still peaceful in the northern realms.

A note to my neighbors: any fortifications that you might find me erecting near our mutual borders are simply precautionary *defensive* works. I firmly believe in the old adage that "good fences make good neighbors". The Kingdom of Scandanavia promises to only man these checkpoints with moderate, defensively composed units, and not with any offensive forces. We hope that peace will continue to prevail...

wmcalpine -> RE: European Diplomacy multiplayer (1/18/2008 9:47:00 AM)

All,

I will be travelling to France and Italy for RL work for 11 days. I will have limited email access, so it may be a while before France can play the next turn. If I do play, it will be from a laptop, so there may be issues with that (see JAMiAM's post above). Let me know how everyone wants to proceed when it is France's turn.

Best Regards

Bill

(France)

I see no problem with this if it keeps the delays down.

JAMiAM -> RE: European Diplomacy multiplayer (1/20/2008 7:56:58 PM)

Button! Button! Who's got the button?

It would help everyone involved, if whenever you pass the turn along, you post so in this thread. Since there have been no objections, and so that everyone is forewarned, I'm going to play my next turn from my laptop, so that I can migrate this game over to it. All future turns will be played from it. That way, I'll generate the one-time, and obligatory, wiped log message, BEFORE things start heating up.

mtvaill -> RE: European Diplomacy multiplayer (1/20/2008 11:27:13 PM)

Turn 4 sent to Balkans

BlackSunshine -> RE: European Diplomacy multiplayer (1/22/2008 12:17:48 AM)

Turn 4 sent to France.

chekers_MatrixForum -> RE: European Diplomacy multiplayer (1/24/2008 4:34:36 AM)

Strill waiting on France ....

wmcalpine -> RE: European Diplomacy multiplayer (1/27/2008 6:33:32 AM)

Sorry guys,

No email access since the 18th. I am using the hotel's computer to send this message :(. I will return home on Sunday, so I will get the turn out tomorrow or Monday at the latest.

Apologies

Bill

wmcalpine -> RE: European Diplomacy multiplayer (1/29/2008 1:41:11 AM)

Diplomatic pouch sent to the UK

chekers_MatrixForum -> RE: European Diplomacy multiplayer (1/29/2008 4:33:10 AM)

Turn 4 sent to Russia.

On another note I have spotted the German Battle Fleet sitting very close to my shores. I would hate to have an international incident. Any more incursions into my waters and I will take this as an act of war.

karonagames -> RE: European Diplomacy multiplayer (1/29/2008 2:09:51 PM)

Unfortunately British so-called intelligence has mistaken a simple pleasure cruise of the "Strength Through Joy" Cruise line as a "Battle Fleet". The tourists will soon be joining our Korps of International Hikers who have peacefully strolled into Amsterdam and who as I write are sampling the excellent Heineken beer,before moving onto their next destination in their peaceful stroll around Europe.

yoggi75 -> RE: European Diplomacy multiplayer (1/29/2008 4:59:04 PM)

Turn sent to Spain

JAMiAM -> RE: European Diplomacy multiplayer (1/30/2008 12:07:54 AM)

Round 5 to Germany.

Remember that, effective this turn, I have migrated the game to my laptop. Thus, there will be a wiped log message for Scandanavia.

There was one for Giacomo (Spain) as well, and I would assume that it's attributable to his computer problems that he posted about a few days ago, in the main AT forum.

03_walk_alot -> RE: European Diplomacy multiplayer (1/30/2008 6:52:14 AM)

As you read...turn sent to Scandanavia.

The new Laptop is running fine. Amazing what you can get for $650.00 now days.
Runs AT, UV,e-mail, web... A-OK.

karonagames -> RE: European Diplomacy multiplayer (1/30/2008 5:50:41 PM)

Turn 5 has gone to Italy. I too have changed computers, so you will get the message.

mtvaill -> RE: European Diplomacy multiplayer (1/31/2008 1:20:32 AM)

Turn 5 sent to Balkans.

BlackSunshine -> RE: European Diplomacy multiplayer (2/2/2008 5:14:44 AM)

Turn 5 sent to France.

karonagames -> RE: European Diplomacy multiplayer (2/2/2008 12:35:21 PM)

I am away on business, with nil internet access, until Thursday 7th Feb.

chekers_MatrixForum -> RE: European Diplomacy multiplayer (2/2/2008 3:43:38 PM)

Turn sent to Russia. Every time I get a turn I forgot what I was doing in the last one. Sloooooooooow........
