I LOVE the game, Marshall (and all others responsible for its development). I'm chiefly playing solitaire (where I play all 7 nations), as I find the AI a little weak (to be expected). My wife hates it, calling it "that evil game," because I've spent so much time playing it since its release! One question/suggestion: If I purchase special forces (cav., guard, artillery), and I do not have a corps available in which to place them when they become available, it appears that I lose them altogether; whereas in the original EiA, you can at least convert them to infantry. The same is true of dropping a garrison -- if you absolutely must drop a garrison, but all you have available is cavalry or guard, there is a provision in the original EiA for converting them to infantry. It's costly, but it is often better than the alternative. I'd love to see this added in a patch/update (or you can tell me how it's done, if I've overlooked it!) Many, many thanks! Regeurk (Tim) Thanks again.
