M10 tank destroyer - I was getting low on picture memory and stopped taking pictures of the plaques

Speedysteve -> RE: Aberdeen Proving Grounds (5/31/2008 1:05:08 AM)

Doubt that would be a PzIVJ above DD. Didn't the H and J series offer Armoured Skirts (unless of course it lost it's [;)]) The H-J series were all 'pretty similar'.

I would gues PZIVG?

DD696 -> RE: Aberdeen Proving Grounds (5/31/2008 1:08:56 AM)

same - the panther next to it in the preceeding photos is a Panther A with a cutaway. Low photo memory, getting more selective on pictures

Yes, J had the skirts, so it may be H/J. After one day and so many tanks, my memory fails.

DD696 -> RE: Aberdeen Proving Grounds (5/31/2008 1:12:09 AM)

Guess I have another plaque or two - the Panther hunters

Next batch yet to come

Richrd -> RE: Aberdeen Proving Grounds (5/31/2008 1:21:44 AM)

The green SP gun shown earlier is a JagdPanzer Kanone, a postwar design.

DD696 -> RE: Aberdeen Proving Grounds (5/31/2008 1:44:05 AM)

Thanks. It's always good to know what you're looking at.

Last batch....

The ultimate WWII Soviet tank JSIII
