Good evening, Gem. [:)] Looks like we have survived another T'storm. Plugging the laptops back in now. It's nice to be on wireless and battery, so I can keep my connection without risking a power surge to the laptops, as long as the cable and electricity stay up.

Oh this is temperate for Dallas alright.[:)] When I first moved here 4 years ago i could not handle the heat but now I love it, much easier to keep cool than deal with below zero wind chills and snow in Chicago.[8D]

Normal temps here are on average, 93/71 so I guess it is a bit warmer than usual but what difference does it make if its 93 or 103? It is still HOT.[8D]

After my 5 winters in Minnesota, I actually got used to the cold. Buy the right clothes, and prepare your house and car, and it's not too bad. Don't get me wrong, I love being able to run and ride my bike outside in January, here in NC. [;)]
