I am on "semi-vacation"... for two months I will go to work only on Friday (have enormous amount of unused holiday days from past years)... I will go to Adriatic coast for 10 days stretch in about 3 weeks though...

Morning Tithe...

Had the weirdest dream this morning. I dreamed that I was back in college, and has just been given an assignment to write. Said assignment was handed out at 8AM on a Friday morning and had to be complete and handed in again electronically the following Sunday morning at 6AM, a minimum of 60 pages long...[X(][:D]

Knowing that I'll most likely die trying to write it, I go to buy lots of candy and soda to keep awake long enough. I slot my credit card into the machine to pay for all the junk I want to purchase, and it goes "beep" as normal. And then it continues to go "beep", "beep", "beep" until I wake up and realize that it's my alarm clock...[:D]

hehe. It has been a while since I have had a dream like that. But I used to have them all of the time when I was in Law School, and then for many years after.

Finally great weather, here in the Alps.
I've made the descision to start at Florida Ironman in November 2010.

Everything all right in the civilized world? I'm feeling like in stone age with just 56k...

I tried to keep this cartoon in mind before responding to the latest, "who won WW2 thread", but I failed. I guess my moral ambiguity about the German and Russian causes in WW2 has faded with the passing years.

Currently reading Beevor's "The Fall of Berlin" 'Grudge war' doesn't even begin to describe that conflict.
