Turn 23 sent to Sov. NW.....finally... sorry for the delay.

Nov. 24, 1941 - MUD!!!

Very slow moving. Pushed Soviets back from Kiev and destroyed a heavy tank unit.

Not looking forward to winter........

Shambling Strider -> RE: 6 players GPW (1/17/2009 8:48:16 PM)

Round 23 sent to Soviet SW Fronts.

Some fights around Vitebsk, Roslav and Bryansk.

Can't wait for real winter.

Ccr -> RE: 6 players GPW (1/17/2009 11:24:54 PM)

t23 to AGN
Partisans capture Odessa and look to disrupt communications as the weather starts to turn really cold and the Red Army can start to prepare for offensives to liberate captured territory.

jhdeerslayer -> RE: 6 players GPW (1/18/2009 10:19:34 AM)

File sent to AGC

Shambling Strider -> RE: 6 players GPW (1/23/2009 12:13:34 AM)

Barthheart -> RE: 6 players GPW (1/30/2009 2:36:51 PM)

Turn 24 sent to Sov. NW.

Snow! Germans freezing on the line.... situation not good anywhere.

PS. Played from my work PC.

Shambling Strider -> RE: 6 players GPW (2/3/2009 3:55:34 AM)

Round 24 sent to SW Fronts.

Hard Axis defense around Vitebsk. Roslav and Bryansk retaken without any fight.

Soviets like winter. Sound of tanks rolling in the fresh snow is poetry!

Ccr -> RE: 6 players GPW (2/4/2009 4:51:04 PM)

Turn to AGN
Has the Axis got the strength to withstand the Soviet Winter offensive?

jhdeerslayer -> RE: 6 players GPW (2/5/2009 12:01:49 AM)

Turn to AGC.

Winter is a drag...

jhdeerslayer -> RE: 6 players GPW (2/10/2009 10:28:06 AM)

Where's the turn gang?

Shambling Strider -> RE: 6 players GPW (2/10/2009 6:08:38 PM)

It would be great if we try to regain our rythm of before Christmas. One complete turn by week is possible for sure, but we all have to give some priority to this game. At least, if all of us are able to write on this forum to give information about some uncontrolable delay, it could be useful.

It's a really interesting game! I'm hoping to play it again soon!

Thank you all for playing!

Barthheart -> RE: 6 players GPW (2/10/2009 6:14:19 PM)

I have not seen it so british exile must have it.

jhdeerslayer -> RE: 6 players GPW (2/11/2009 11:01:47 AM)

I will resend to Exile just in case.  Unfortuneatly this is my experience with these group games.  Quick turn around to start and then fizzles away.

Shambling Strider -> RE: 6 players GPW (2/13/2009 1:02:53 AM)

So, what are the options now?

Ccr -> RE: 6 players GPW (2/13/2009 8:59:06 AM)

Are we playing the version of the scenario where we can replay the previous turn & reset the password?
If so then one of the players on the same side can take over the over players 'regime'. If one player is consistently slow (and not on holiday!) then this would be a decent option.
So, for instance, if the Soviet South player has lost interest in the game the Soviet Central Front player will replay their turn & reset the South Front password and play that turn as well before passing onto AGN to allow the game to progress as normal. The 'disinterested/busy' player could rejoin at a later date by getting the 'new' password off the Soviet Central player.

Thoughts?

Shambling Strider -> RE: 6 players GPW (2/13/2009 1:35:46 PM)

Actually, it seems that it's AGC who lost interest/spare time to play this one. And yes, I think that we are playing with the password change option on.

So, if a password have to be change, Deerslayer will have to replay his turn and proceed with this change.

Other thoughts?

jhdeerslayer -> RE: 6 players GPW (2/13/2009 2:02:40 PM)

I'm open to anything but we need to confirm AGC lack of interest and find a replacement.  The only file I have is the one I sent AGC and not sure I can reset PW from that one or not.

If Exile wants to Exit isn't easier to just get his PW if he is OK with this?

Ccr -> RE: 6 players GPW (2/14/2009 11:05:40 AM)

True, but some players guard their passwords (too many to remember in this day & age to keep thinking of others!).

Deerslayer - are you able to email British Exile & see what the form is? If there is no reply for a couple of days perhaps you can replay your turn, changig the password for AGC at the same time, and then pass on the file to AGS having done AGC as well?

jhdeerslayer -> RE: 6 players GPW (2/14/2009 2:31:57 PM)

I'm asking AGC if he still wants to play, and at quicker pace as well, and then we'll try from there.

jhdeerslayer -> RE: 6 players GPW (2/16/2009 10:42:10 AM)

AGC still wants to play, will send out the file today, and promises to keep up the pace better from now one.
