Thanks, I'll try to duplicate and grab the files. I'll make sure the developer sees this as soon as he wakes up. Sorry this messed up your game, please see if you can work around it until we post a fix.

Erik Rutins -> RE: Crash To Desktop (7/25/2008 12:38:31 AM)

Well, the good news and bad news is that I was able to duplicate. We'll get this fixed ASAP, not sure how we missed it.

IanF1966 -> RE: Crash To Desktop (7/25/2008 2:09:50 AM)

Thanks Eric.
I have worked past this:
Basically I didn't deploy subs as soon as I got them and it crashes.
Deploy on same turn and no crash.

Hope this helps.

doomtrader -> RE: Crash To Desktop (7/25/2008 7:36:44 AM)

Hi, I'm already woke up.

Thanks for the report.
I'm downloading the file.

comrade -> RE: Crash To Desktop (7/25/2008 8:37:31 AM)

Yup. That was a bug. It's been fixed already and you won't see this happen after first patch. For now, just deploy all naval units in the same turn you purchase them.

doomtrader -> RE: Crash To Desktop (7/25/2008 8:48:34 AM)

Please, don't delete link to the file.
We will use it in our Mantis

IanF1966 -> RE: Crash To Desktop (7/25/2008 10:19:47 AM)

Glad to help you guys. Really enjoying the game.
By the way, when is Bitter Glory out?

doomtrader -> RE: Crash To Desktop (7/25/2008 10:38:05 AM)

Thank you for information and for undesrtanding.

We are doing our best to hunt and remove all the bugs, and there is no doubt that with the help of community it will be far more easier.

Bitter Glory will be ready when it's done. Check the site from time to time and you will find answer there.

I see you have learned to talk Matrixspeak. I am really enjoying your first release and look forward to more. Congratulations on what impresses me so far as being an extremely good game.

doomtrader -> RE: Crash To Desktop (7/25/2008 6:00:29 PM)

I learned it before we started to cooperate with Matrix.

Looks like great minds think together ;)

Lucky1 -> RE: Crash To Desktop (7/27/2008 11:29:28 PM)

Any ETA on a (i.e., the firs) patch? With the naval crash bug, the game is effectively unplayable?

I completely agree with Lucky1!![:@] Is there a workaround for the naval crash bug? Haven't been able to test/play the game due to this bug. Did you guys find the bug already? First patch?

comrade -> RE: Crash To Desktop (7/30/2008 4:34:29 PM)

Again, sorry for that - we're working on it, doing our best. It's very difficult to find the reason, what we know so far is that it occurs on Vista, but there has to be more to it, because on some vista PCs the game runs without any problems.

Lucky1, Samichlaus, thanks for sending Output.txt log file, could you please send me the DxDiag file too?

First 1.20 public beta will be released in about two weeks. We'll do our best to fix this issue in the very first patch.

krrpt -> RE: Crash To Desktop (7/30/2008 5:02:05 PM)

I just wanted to chime in here and note that I am getting crashes to the desktop too, though it's not related to naval units. Merely moving land units after, say, making a multi-unit attack does the trick. I haven't been able to make it through more than a dozen turns before something triggers this.

Erik Rutins -> RE: Crash To Desktop (7/30/2008 5:07:05 PM)

krrpt,

Could you please post a DxDiag file for us as well? Thanks.

Regards,

- Erik

Lucky1 -> RE: Crash To Desktop (7/30/2008 10:34:46 PM)

To whom should I email my DxDiag info?

comrade -> RE: Crash To Desktop (7/31/2008 10:59:44 AM)

Send it to me: pawel.roman@iqsoftwaregames.com
