The German plan begins to unravel- Finns ground down north of Leningrad. Baltic Kriegsmarine trashed by coastal artillery. VVS gets target practice with Heeresgruppe Nord bomber fleets, caught undefended on the ground. Romanians blasted by artillery at Perekop. File to SW Front to finish.

Turn 14 to Ivan.. Without airsupport due to the heavy losses for the Luftwaffe last week AGN continued its advance to Leningrad. Hoepner now stands before the suburbs, while Mannerheim hits back the Russians north of the city. Will Stavka evacuate or (at least try to) stand firm the next couple of weeks? AGC fights entrenched enemy troops and crawls towards Moscow. Looking out of the window at the darkening skies OKH doubts if the main strategic goal can be reached this year. AGS captures a lot of ground, Russians have retreated to a strong defenseline. In the Crimea the Rumanians, more and more supported by transferred German troops fight their way to Sevastopol and Kerch.

Last of the Axis surface fleet begin their long rust at the bottom of the Baltic. AGN arty takes a pounding. Crimean intruders lose another division. File to Fritz.

Turn to Stavka. This week the mighty German army continued the advance on all fronts. Since the Russians are either fleeing or in their fortifications not much action can be reported. The Crimea however will soon show us the interesting battle for Sevastopol.

File received, orders out, NW Front executing, Finland about to face combined parachute/naval attack..... ...Paras land without casualties. Helsinki bombarded from the sea. VVS strikes lucky finding and battering concentrated AGN artillery. South Front prepares for the onslought. SW Front likewise, and wipes out probing 10. Infanterie Division. Awaiting contact from West Front. Nostrovia!

AGC report received as well. OKH finished turn and over to Stavka. The Russians made a surprise paradrop in Finland. Surprising move, but distracting forces from the main strategic areas where we advance despite the delay due to the mud. Breaking lines all across the front. With a bit of luck with the weather 1941 might be the year for a nice battle for Moscow. Sevastopol cut off from overland supply as German and Rumanian troops move to the city.
