ORIGINAL: Nomad If you're not 60+, you aint no geeezzzzzzzzzzzzzzer. [:D] If you are 50-60 you are a young geezer. 61-71 makes you a middle age geezer. Anything over 71 makes you a old geezer. If you are under 50 , but have the proper attitude you may be a future geezer. A want-to-be geezer , or a wheezer. [:D][:D][:D] I have to publish a correction, Steve. By definition, a "wheezer" is a whinning geezer. (from the OED - Obscure Euphemistic Dictionary). A want-to-be-geezer is casually mentioned as a "wannageez", since, of course, the term 'geezer' is derived from the verb 'to geez' which has yet to find an entirely adequate, and certainly not concise, definition. It is somehow linked to another ill defined term called "old school." One Heinleinian cynic as tried to define "geez" as 'to look upon youth as a period of intense physical energy and mental effort with neither a organized end nor any semblance of discernible intelligence.' Thank you Rev, I stand duly corrected. So do you think we should establish such a on going thread?
