But got an error when placing the order, number 30024901 - 0

Used two different CCs, Two different browsers. Latest versions of IE8 and FF. Ample funds on both CCs.

Is there a machine problem at Digital River?

Some other problem to do with Matrix?

I hope not - I'm looking forward to playing WitP AE soon, as well as CoG EE.

No problems that I'm aware of, commerce is continuing as normal today. Can you please e-mail me at erikr@matrixgames.com with your order number? I'll ask the store to find out what's going on in your case. It could be as simple as a missed data field or some such.

I thought for a moment I'd worked it out: I was ordering from the *European* store, not the *United Kingdom* one.

So I tried again this morning.
But still no joy.

I'm frustrated; I have no problem ordering stuff from any other company on-line - even buying my son's WoW subscription this month ('cos he's run out of money, of course!) went flawlessly.

Also tried to buy. Since I'm an original Crown of Glory owner, I put in for and received my $10 discount verification code.

The pay site, however, does not acknowledge the code, including a cut-and-paste directly from the confirmation email, and continues to insist on charging full price. Needless to say, this glitch is the only reason I'm not enjoying the game at this very moment.

Well I'm still not enjoying the game because I can't purchase it.

Erik's doing his best, and I thank him for that, but it seems DR don't want to take my money. [:(]

CoG isn't the only Matrix game I'm interested in, otherwise I'd just kiss it all goodbye. But I'm still working on it.

SUCCESS!!!!

I've had to re-open my long-dormant PayPal account, which meands I'll get spammed to death again - the reason I stopped it in the first place. But PayPal worked.

Erik, My sincere thanks for the help and encouragement.

I still feel that there's a problem with the way DR are attempting to process my card(s) though. No other site I've visited has given me the same problem. Almost all of them provide alternative CC processing methods - though I guess I should be charitable and say that PayPal itself counts as an alternative.

Of course, NOW I have to be away all weekend... but I'll download this afternoon.
