Just wanted to give a quick warning to you guys, if I in some way seem angry, annoyed, pissed off, etc etc there is nothing personal and I have yet to write a message without a hge grin on my face. It is just the game taking control of my actions [:)]

But if any of you do feel I step over the line, just say so and I will back down and edit my post. Anyway there is never anything personal.

Terje

terje439 -> RE: PBEM 109 (6/15/2009 12:30:20 AM)

But on a side note,
France is thinking about building a bridge to England, anyone that wants to join in the project let me know. That way the uptight British cannot sit on their island saying "oh jolly, we are sooo much better than the rest and we have the best fleet ever to sail the seas".
[;)]

Mus -> RE: PBEM 109 (6/15/2009 12:51:30 AM)

I propose we build the bridge out of dead Frenchmen and the crushed hulls of French ships.  The rest of Europe, having grown sick of watching Frenchmen chop each others heads off and seize each others property would then be welcome as tourists and customers of British Hospitality and Industry.

terje439 -> RE: PBEM 109 (6/15/2009 12:52:34 AM)

Oh, you want the reamins of our nobles to build the bridge? That can be arranged.

And you guys thought us French guys were not helpful?
[:D]

So does he, unfortunately for the British it is just a football he is looking into [:D]

terje439 -> RE: PBEM 109 (6/15/2009 1:00:22 AM)

But I believe your economy will benefit from placing one hand on either of his buttchecks and then press your lips closely to his ***. Preussian economy can really benefit from a friendly British player.
Just as much as I can afford to lash out in any direction seing as I am the bad guy anyway.

Scenario starts in June of 92. Guillotine was used from April of 92 forward (althought the terror didnt start until 93) and property seizure had already started as well.

Atleast we use the Guillotine. That is fast. Not like the British with their Axe.
The Countess of Salisbury was struck 11 times before her head was off [X(]
That sounds alot more cruel than our Guillotine...

The issue is whether or not the people being executed deserve to die. I could care less how much it hurts if they do.

Cheerio.

IronWarrior -> RE: PBEM 109 (6/15/2009 1:40:17 AM)

aprezto -> RE: PBEM 109 (6/15/2009 1:47:35 AM)

Mus -> RE: PBEM 109 (6/15/2009 2:13:22 AM)

IronWarrior -> RE: PBEM 109 (6/15/2009 2:15:35 AM)

aprezto, shoot me your email addy (pm if you like) and I'll try sending a test email to see. Maybe that'll work I dunno.

Anthropoid -> RE: PBEM 109 (6/15/2009 2:27:52 AM)

Perhaps this is due to the wonders of copy and paste. I had my first email to IW bounced back. It seems I included the parenthesis on one side.

IronWarrior -> RE: PBEM 109 (6/15/2009 2:42:11 AM)

test emails sent... appears to have gone through.

aprezto -> RE: PBEM 109 (6/15/2009 2:43:22 AM)

Bill;

Received and replied two emails from each address. First with text only, second with attachment. I had no initial bounces though...?

aprezto -> RE: PBEM 109 (6/15/2009 2:47:38 AM)

yes thanks champ - that's my all singing all dancing game account.

Excellent - thanks for the persistence.

Anthropoid -> RE: PBEM 109 (6/15/2009 2:52:00 AM)

Aprezto, could you list which nation you are playing in the match in your sig?

Iron dude, I just resent to your @live account again. Maybe it didn't go through that first time, but I also find that my Outlook seems to have a mind of its own, and be pretty discerning about certain domains like hotmail and "live."

aprezto -> RE: PBEM 109 (6/15/2009 2:54:15 AM)

As you desire my leige...

Anthropoid -> RE: PBEM 109 (6/15/2009 2:54:37 AM)

Seems to be some problem with it going from my earthlink domain to @live??

Now see, THAT is how a Prussian should speak to the Tsar! [:)]

aprezto -> RE: PBEM 109 (6/15/2009 2:57:55 AM)

Well it is the way a Prussian will speak to the Tsar's face, although it can be difficult to know which end that is...

Now about those 10 food for 1 iron...

Anthropoid -> RE: PBEM 109 (6/15/2009 3:03:02 AM)

I've now resent it a 3rd and 4th time. Once from Outlook (through earthlink) and once straight from earthlink. Let me know if it still doesn't make it. I also have a work account I can try to use.
