Woah - where have I been with this sudden discussion going on? As the evil disloyal hun, it is obviously difficult for me to respond about honour, but I'll give it a crack. Evil Hun has: defensive pact with Spain, alliance with Britain. Spain and Britain having their squabble over Portugal. Prussia empathisizes with British position of holding the land that Spain, who for some reason thinks should be theirs, is attempting to wrest it from Britain's grasp. Britain explains they will have to go to war with Spain if the Spanish are successful. Prussia informs Britain, that despite the goodwill evident in the British defence of Prussia when knife-weilding backstabbing Russians sneak attacked, that Prussia sees a defensive pact as a more binding agreement than an alliance, and that we would be forced to defend Spain (especially since holding both an alliance and a defensive pact with opposing combatents ment we were taking a glory hit each turn by sitting on the fence and complying with neither). Prussia offers, and subsequently takes part in liaison between Britain and Spain over possible trading of territory. This appears to break down (no idea why but imagine outlandish demands... from both sides?). Spain causes coup, Britain DoWs, Prussia instigates it's warning and nullifies its alliance, honourably abiding by it's defensive pact with Spain. I don't seem to see Spain ratifying Prussian disloyalty...? Peter - willing to parlay.
