Tim Coakley -> Patch update (7/6/2009 8:24:02 PM)

Just a note to let you know we are working on the patch for the game.

Looks like the alt-tab CTD bug and the problem with TCP/IP play has been fixed.

No ETA on the patch yet, but I expect it this month.

Tim

it is now 2 Aug 09 and I don't see a patch has it been delayed due to more things being fixed or have I just missed it?

Aye, an update on patch status would be greatly appreciated.

Panama Red -> RE: Patch update (8/3/2009 2:43:15 PM)

Is the "artillery forward" going to be fixed in this patch or a future patch ???

Tim Coakley -> RE: Patch update (8/3/2009 4:29:28 PM)

I am waiting on one last file (graphics) and then the patch will get a final test. No exact date but "soon".

Have fixed the TCP/IP, alt-tab crash, a few minor scenario tweaks, and working on the graphics for the placement of redoubts.

Thanks for the quick response, and the good news. [8D]

Just to make sure - the cav-v-cav  bug will be fixed as well, right?

Tim Coakley -> RE: Patch update (8/3/2009 8:07:59 PM)

Yes! Forgot to add that one to my list.

The programmer has fixed that one.

jackx -> RE: Patch update (9/11/2009 3:02:28 PM)

Any ETA for the patch yet?

Don't want to appear impatient, but it's been another month, and both the alt-tab-crashes and the cav-v-cav are really detracting from an otherwise very enjoyable game.
Particularly the crashes also really get in the way of PBEM - even when both you and your opponent don't make a fuss over having to restart turns, it's still no fun to have to do so frequently.

(I've taken to disabling my 2nd monitor while playing, and also turning off just about everything that could cause a pop-up notification, and thus crash, of any sort, but it's far from an ideal solution...)

Tim Coakley -> RE: Patch update (9/11/2009 3:35:41 PM)

Just sent the files to be built into an installer. Once that is done, will give 1 week for my testers to double check...and then out the door.

Rough estimate...01 October, but no promise.

Has taken longer than expected (it always does).

PrinzHenrich -> RE: Patch update (9/11/2009 3:36:56 PM)

Patch is testing as I saw.
