I remember how I felt after I received my first, official, Speedy "DUMBASS!"  [;)]

Definitely an honor. [;)] He saves that only for special people. [:D]

A total madhouse...

I just imagine my Lt.Col. saying: "Can someone please call me dumbass, I need that now"
Funny imagination [:D]

Im on vacation, meaning that I can be called a dumbass. If at work, however, I would prefer "unlucky while thinking".

Onto China now.....err head spinning too many units....too many bases......err....does nto compute[;)]

Are you working on a turn for a PBEM or vs. AI? I've pretty much decided to hold off "investing time" in the campaign until after the first patch, as there appear to be a significant number of DB corrections to be made. I'll probably spend a lot of time "studying" the campaign, but I don't want to get a week or two into a game, even against the AI, only to find out I have SBD's that drop 60kg bombs. [:D]

ZOING!(TM)

Now the new Thread has been properly baptized...[:D]

USSAmerica -> RE: THE THREAD!!! (7/31/2009 3:50:03 PM)

Hi Leo.  [:)]

So, after almost a week, how do your chances look of having your engagement outlast your AE love affair?  [;)]

Indeed :)

But didn't do a single turn so far, just looking...

All the ancient plane groups arriving in 2/45 are the training groups, right? Do their planes still have to be built or are they arriving by a "convoi"?

But one thing... There are WAY to few BBs in AE [:(]
I really need to mod a little...

This is what my Royal Navy looks like at them moment [;)] These are, according to my sources, the camo schemes that the ships (or a member of their class in theatre) were wearing in December 1941. Regular grey is so 1940 [:'(]

I like that the Prince of Wales is already pouring out some from fires[:D]

Yeah, looked like that to me too. [:D]

She's safe though [;)] And almost ready for combat [8D]

Mike Solli -> RE: THE THREAD!!! (7/31/2009 5:02:29 PM)

They are pretty Dixie.  Hobart doesn't do much for me though.

Probably my least favourite as well. Overall blue is as bad as overall grey [:D] Working on HMNZS Achilles now, she's got a great scheme [:D]

BrucePowers -> RE: THE THREAD!!! (7/31/2009 5:06:05 PM)

Mike I need help. Do you realize Faber went to Arkansas again?[X(][:D]

Mike Solli -> RE: THE THREAD!!! (7/31/2009 5:06:19 PM)

You need to post her when you finish her.  How long does it take you to do the average ship?

Mike Solli -> RE: THE THREAD!!! (7/31/2009 5:06:53 PM)

Arkansas?! Who would want to go there? [X(]

USSAmerica -> RE: THE THREAD!!! (7/31/2009 5:09:03 PM)

His parents live there, I believe.

Mike Solli -> RE: THE THREAD!!! (7/31/2009 5:09:51 PM)

Hmm, that explains a lot. [;)] [:D]

I have. Fortunately, I can say only because the Guard sent me there. I really don't have an interest in visiting that place again.

BrucePowers -> RE: THE THREAD!!! (7/31/2009 5:17:32 PM)

My sister-in-law has talked about retiring there. If I want to see my brother in the future I may have to go there[sm=nono.gif][:D]

Depends on the ship and the scheme. A complex dazzle scheme can take a couple of days from scratch, or boring blue takes a couple of hours

I'd rather retire in Tennessee. Very pretty and low cost of living.

What you do amazes me, Dixie.
