9/9/40

still good weather and tons off Axis aircraft in the air.

wernerpruckner -> RE: BoB - Swift vs Kevin (7/3/2010 6:49:42 AM)

Here are the losses - you can see that Kevin seems to overuse his pilots to keep the pressure up.
I usually only use pilots with a "good" morale at the moment.

Everything with morale lower than 60 goes to Scottland and Ireland, and as soon as they are back to the nineties they go back to the combat zones.......for that reason I have around 60% ready for combat and the rest resting or on low risk missions (like those pescky raids against the coastal targets in the north)

wernerpruckner -> RE: BoB - Swift vs Kevin (7/3/2010 6:51:00 AM)

The known missions - I cannot go after all of them - but I can try to hurt some of them!

wernerpruckner -> RE: BoB - Swift vs Kevin (7/3/2010 6:54:11 AM)

here is my reserve A/C stock.
Looks like I have enough of most things.....so I can play with the production

wernerpruckner -> RE: BoB - Swift vs Kevin (7/3/2010 6:57:15 AM)

and now to my still out of order Radar Home Chain.....depressing!

wernerpruckner -> RE: BoB - Swift vs Kevin (7/3/2010 6:58:41 AM)

and finally the combat information.

The AS was 11 for two short times during the day..........

Rob Brennan UK -> RE: BoB - Swift vs Kevin (7/3/2010 6:19:30 PM)

That 4-1 kill ratio does look good in your favour , granted the radar is appalling.

I am so looking forward to the new GUI nect patch , just cannot wait patiently for that . I feel like a child at christmas [:D].

Just a note on this - see the "last" column? Werner has used the new exe on an existing game. All the units that have flown before the new exe will show as "N/A" till they fly a mission, then they will work normally. I try really hard not to make exe updates require a restart.

wernerpruckner -> RE: BoB - Swift vs Kevin (7/21/2010 6:09:36 PM)

9/10/40

Many raids againstRadar and airfields, but also this gem....unescorted LF5 raids....easy prey [8D]

wernerpruckner -> RE: BoB - Swift vs Kevin (7/21/2010 6:11:09 PM)

because of my over-using of my squadrons the AS went up to 13 (SIC!), because I got close to 300 ready A/C.......I should not let everything fly!

wernerpruckner -> RE: BoB - Swift vs Kevin (7/21/2010 6:12:22 PM)

but luckily this was only temporary and the AS went back to cozy 9!

here are the losses of the turn:

wernerpruckner -> RE: BoB - Swift vs Kevin (7/21/2010 6:13:28 PM)

and here are the raids!
Kevin is still ignoring the bomer losses....but he is doing good looking at the score!

wernerpruckner -> RE: BoB - Swift vs Kevin (7/21/2010 6:14:31 PM)

I have still a solid reserve in aircraft....but I lack good pilots for them.....

wernerpruckner -> RE: BoB - Swift vs Kevin (7/21/2010 6:15:17 PM)

here are my top pilots.......leading ace is wounded.....

wernerpruckner -> RE: BoB - Swift vs Kevin (7/21/2010 6:16:20 PM)

the industry is still strong and not much affected by Kevins raids (because he is ignoring it!)

[image]local://upfiles/16527/DF76334C412B4D14A13F716A92C7CCB7.jpg[/image]

wernerpruckner -> RE: BoB - Swift vs Kevin (7/21/2010 6:17:23 PM)

Spitfire IA squadrons..........some of them are really good at hunting down the enemy [8D]

wernerpruckner -> RE: BoB - Swift vs Kevin (7/21/2010 6:18:39 PM)

and here the workhorse Hurricane I squadrons.......they go mainly vs bombers, and therefore they get often bounced by escorts......

Oliver Heindorf -> RE: BoB - Swift vs Kevin (7/21/2010 6:37:19 PM)

any reason why you still produce the defiant ?

wernerpruckner -> RE: BoB - Swift vs Kevin (7/23/2010 8:05:59 PM)

it is BoB40...."only" 79 turns.......and I have enough stock of any important type

wernerpruckner -> RE: BoB - Swift vs Kevin (8/8/2010 8:14:24 AM)

9/11/40

the probably most quiet turn of the game so far!
Kevin still goes after A/Fs, but with much less brutality....and he also made not as much raids as in the last few turns.
Only main difference are 2 nightbomber raids in the London area!

Maybe this is the end of the Battle of Britain and the start of The Blitz?

Here are my recovering Radar stations.

wernerpruckner -> RE: BoB - Swift vs Kevin (8/8/2010 8:19:15 AM)

You can see that 11 & 12 Group are the fighting groups, because all units have several non operational A/Cs

here is part2
here you see that I use BC and CC A/Fs for covering the southern area.
