ORIGINAL: A7V_U For me at the moment its Jutland Greetings Rainer Rainer, How do you like Jutland? I picked it up early in the year and played several of the scenarios. I have not tried playing online yet. I have been getting the itch to play it some more. Sorry for the delay, I was on a businesstrip[>:] Are you the Seydlitz from the Gamesquad-Forum? Well, for me as a German WW1 is the only period where we had a fleet comparable to England (ok, more or less...) and I am fascinated by these old battleships. The only other game of this type is from 1992, "Dreadnoughts" made by Peter Turcan (Austerlitz anyone?). At the moment I play the German campaign and reached June of 1916. So far I have sunk all the British Battlecruisers and about 10 Dreadnoughts together with an uncounted number of small vessels. The Channel is ruled by the German Hochseeflotte. The game runs smooth on my Computer with all settings to the maximum and there are very few technical issues. The interface is not the best but if you are used to play Grigsby games[:D]... Tactics: If you want to win, you better leave your destroyers and light cruisers at home and just stick with your battleships. Try to pick a small portion of the Grand Fleet and try to sink or damage those ships. The stupid AI does not seem to repair much of the ships and losses due to ramming other ships are quite high. Its a nice game and the battles are fun. If you have mastered WITP you probably canīt lose this game[;)] One annoying point in the campaign ist the interception of merchants. The outcome is normally clear, but you always have to play it out some how. Greetings Rainer
