Everything. Their various ratings, rank, what unit they are commanding. You could even add new leaders if you want.

regarding the editor
when looking at ground element it shows the icon(.tga) and picture (.bmp) but does not always show any info in the lines 'Use Photo ID' and 'Use Symbol ID'would be useful when creating new elements to see whats used on excisting elements.

If it is not specified it is using the ID as index for the photo or icon http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=2639590
