Been playing since CC2 went gold and I got it day of release from WaldenSoftware back in the day...and I remember when CC1 was supposed to ASL on the PC in the first PC gamer preview of the series. Right now I still say CC2 is the best of the best hands down. Better graphics than CC3-5, plus the Zoom in feature which vanished on the later game really show the details on the afvs. I am playing CC:TLD Grand Campaign, right now, 2nd turn as the Germans, or series of beach battles after the night of the paras..and it's a bit of bugger fight off tanks with 2nd rate units..but that's how it was..so you deal with it. but it's still fun. My only complaint is the time frame, 4 days of June, I would have rather seen it be able to go longer, but there is still alot of fight in those 4 days to keep one going. I guess my other gripe is just the crappy AFV graphics in the game, which is a carry over from CC4/5's original crappy AFV graphics.
