I usually listen to diverse music - using my mp3 player software running in the background. From classics to rock, jazz to ambient, whatever. But...
over at the subsim forum, in the Silent Hunter 4 mod section, you'll be able to find a thread where an enthusiast created a really huge sound mod for that brilliant game. It consists of mp3s organized in folders (event folders in the game's event organization structure). Mainly consists of AFRS radio programmes, KGMB Honolulu, loads of others, with news and music and other stuff. Gives both games depth to hear the actual radio programs aired during WW2. :)
