olperfessor -> "Bombing Acc" and "Major Skills" (2/22/2010 2:01:46 PM)

(1) On some bombers' Air Unit Information Screens, we see a numerical representation of bombing accuracy (e.g. "Bombing Acc: 24%") which I used to guess was calculated using the individual pilots' ratings (so that transferring experienced pilots in or out would change this rating), a nice shorthand way for us to estimate a unit's effectiveness or need for training. But then I found a unit with "Bombing Acc: 0" (and of course some with no accuracy rating), despite having pilots with some skills. So this accuracy seems independent of the pilot mix. Is this a representation of the unit experience, presumably reflecting ground crew and staff experience? I'm not looking for details of how it is calculated, just a general sense of what it represents. (2). The "Major Skills" that some air units have (e.g. "air," "land bombing" or "defensive"). . . are these achieved by the totals of pilot skill ratings in the area? Or based on the unit's past missions? Apologies if answers appear elsewhere in the forum. I looked.
