There are a lot of little music files out there I never hear... Are they supposed to play only at the end of a scenario, or something? Sounds kinda strange...!

I did a lot of sound file swapping with the original WITP and indeed found several files which I also had never heard.
I learned some of those files are picked at random by the program, either by a special event, or a very rare random number.
Each sound file has a size and duration of its' own, and sometimes overlapping programs will completely obviate some of the sound files.
This latter factor must be remembered anytime you swap files out for others, (like Victory At Sea clips, etc.)

I guess there may be a different tune for every win/draw/defeat situation for every side. Knowing I don't exactly finish scenarios that often, and that - as a human player - I don't plan on losing or getting a draw against the computer, I may very well overlook those fine tunes indeed [:o]
