Like in the subject. Is it possible to capture enemy ships/installations?

It would be really nice, to capture enemy ship and retrofit/upgrade it with your own weaponry. [:)]

There's currently no ship boarding. However when you successfully invade and take over an enemy colony, you automatically obtain all the bases at the colony (space ports, defensive bases, etc), including any ships under construction there.

There are also abandoned ships and bases spread throughout the galaxy. You can take these ships and bases over.

Re-e-e-eally? How very interesting. [;)]

So does this mean any enemy ships captured mid-construction can be added to our own navy (if we so desire)? And/or can we lift any technologies from said captured ship(s)?

Of course [:)] But that doesn't necessarily mean that you then know how to build new ships of the same type - unless you then scrap those ships to get some tech boosts from them (assuming they're more advanced than your current tech)

Yeah, I'd pretty much assumed that already. Indeed, I wouldn't have expected otherwise. [:)]

Oh my god. Sweet. That is interesting.
