I still think you need to put your emphasis in the Leningrad front, cut it off, occupy it and I believe you will have turned the Russki flank.

(AAR) Manstein countered and sent a Tank Corps to the rear. The two ID's are now in his command. Alot of sub units were sent there also...As far as an offence on Leningrad it's way past due now, all I can do is draw them out and hit them hard...They have a 3 to 1 ratio in armor now... Jon, when you say that the "Huns" are taking a beating, I assume you mean the Hungarians as the Germans seem to be doing fine in that sector? Also: The recently converted/reclassified as PzG Wiking is the only SS divisional sized quality formation you have at your disposal, right? Do you have any special plans for the LSSAH, DR and TK when they come back in February/March, possibly including the partially converted SS Polizei division?

Soon I have to go to a flex defence, which is draw them out and hit them hard. Yes alot of elite SS units come back in the spring...Agian I'm hitting weak regions, keeping my head about me, and cut theres when they stick it out...

Jon I can't read your strategy - why are you pushing to the East of Moscow? Won't this just create a bulge? I can't see the advantage unless it is to ease pressure elsewhere and for the attrition... S

Jon, thanks for the AAR. Do you have some closing comments concerning what went wrong and what went right, and perhaps some closing comments on whether you could achieve the objectives according to your timetable at the start of the AAR?

With all of the upgrades and tweaks that were produced during your test game I would really like to know where you think the AI now stands in terms of game readines? 50%? 60%? The AAR was great btw

You can see how valuable Jon's AARs are to the design team as they highlight areas that need to be reviewed. There will be lots of changes to the campaign this week which will neccesitate ending this game and starting a new one. Pavel is entering in the historical production figures and we are looking at reducing infantry strength in the German divisions. The starting German OOB strength is about 3.2M and it should be around 2.5M or 2.6M so some cuts are needed. Some more reading has revealed that Army Group North and Army Group Center should be fielding infantry strengths of around 40-50% while currently they are at 65%. Army Group South should be sitting at around 85% infantry strength and they are sitting around 90-95% currently. We are also going to use Jentz's figures on Panzer strengths so this should weaken the AGN and AGC tank forces and strengthen the AGS tank forces. I think this will make the Moscow thrust strategy much more difficult but realistic. Trey

It should only be only a couple of weeks. I have to focus on the S&T section for our manual, and I'm also waiting for the production tables to get in line...I'm so glad you enjoyed it and I'm sure Joel will allow me another AAR soon...

Well I miss posted these screen shots in Q&A. Darn wife talking in the rear hard on my ear, got to love to hate them, or is it hate to love them...lol...Anyway the powers upstairs to be are mounting agianst me. Alot of questions may rise on how I did this. Well the real question can I do it agian. If nothing else, shorten the line. I did good by taking population centers. I have enough oil in 42, and the last thing I want to do is spread an already thin line...I placed my crack SS corps to strike north. It was waiting for the first clear weather...
