ORIGINAL: bretg80 I will caveat the above with the fact that I will be taking a break from development for a while as the summer hiking season is upon us. I will fix bugs or other issues and will continue with development in the fall when the weather turns colder. Please submit any ideas in the interim as I will continue my design work and topic discussion over the summer so I'm ready to continue with the coding in the fall. If by chance you are a Java developer and you want to join in the fun, let me know and we can figure out how to work on this together. :-) Bret Don't know if this is a bug, but I had an event at Paramushiro-Jima, in the Kuriles (I invaded it as Allies and took it) and the map would not snap there. It remained near the Soviet off-map entry box in the north center of the map when I clicked on the event. Is every base hex in the spreadsheet I see in the folder? Or is this maybe something to do with bases near the map edges? Looks like the base is in the file and that this is a parse bug. I'll correct that and thanks for the bug report. Bret Excellent. (As if I understand what you said.[:)]) For after your summer, if you want a suggestion (don't know how hard it would be), but colorizing the hotpoints where a to-a-hex snap is available might save some clicks. From plugging away it looks like the whole report line might be a hotpoint? Not sure, as the boundaries seem undefined in some cases. Not a deal-breaker, I just like to save my clicks.[:'(] The entire line is a hotspot to click on. I will look at highlighting lines that will move the map. They key is to look and see if a location is present in a line. You can look for "at x,y" or "near <location>". If a line has these constructs, then more than likely the map will move to that location. I did fix a bug that you reported on that wasn't working properly for hyphenated base names. [:)] I'll add the hotspot highlighting to my to-do list. Bret
