Yea I did not get one either, I bought the download and intentionally bought the hardcopy to a get a physical manual, a little disappointing, but I guess I should have read through the game description/asked the question first before paying for the hardcopy

Developer said the game manual had gone to print which indicates there should have been a printed manual in the physical game edition.

Printing of the DVD's. Will ask Matrix about whether or not a printed manual should've been included in the physical copy.

LSA = Digital express

"Digital Express Edition" - Means no printed manual, physical copy has the usual box and CD but just the included PDF manual
"Standard Edition" - Means grayscale printed manual in the physical copy (in addition to the PDF manual)
"Collector's Edition" - Means color printed manual in the physical copy (in addition to the PDF manual)

This is despite earlier assurances that a printed manual would be included

Fron the tLD Forum

I'll say this - we hear you now and the next release will once again have a printed manual.

- Erik

So, maybe there is an error?

Hi guys,

Sorry, no printed manual in this release as the game specs and store page do state. While we had originally planned on a printed manual for this release after TLD, it would need to have been ready two months before release and we didn't make that deadline. We decided to go ahead with the PDF manual rather than delay the release further as the release schedule down the line was pretty darn full as well.

The game description and specs for LSA always stated that the manual was PDF only and as Andrew noted, the "Digital Express" version is specifically for PDF manual releases as the store front page also explains.

Regards,

- Erik
