Bamilus -> Small Corrections (8/28/2010 3:30:06 AM)

I don't want to be a stickler because this game is near perfect but since it's an easy fix for the programmers I'll just say it.

Three things come to mind right now, the first was pointed out to me by another user (WilliePete).

1. In the Case White scenario (or in the main campaign), the Kempf Panzer Division includes an "SS Grossdeustchland" regiment. The GD Regiment was in the Kempf Panzer Division in Case White, but it wasn't nor ever has been SS. This should be changed to properly reflect GD as being a Heer regiment (and later in the war, division).

2. Also in Case White: In Army Group North's Fourth Army Third Corp there are two "netze" brigades. This is correct but Netze is all lowercase and it looks a bit tacky considering every other named division/regiment/brigade (to my knowledge) uses correct capitalization (e.g. "Lehr"). On the OOB and on the unit counter the n is not capitilized.

3. The Polish "Pomorska Calvary Brigade" also is all lowercase on the unit counter "pom". If it is your intent to do this then let me know but as I said earlier I don't believe it is. I think it should be "Pom" instead.

4. The "Lotzen Division" is also all lowercase "lotzen." I've noticed about 60-70% of named units use capitalization and the rest don't.
These are really small points and you're probably already aware of them but if not I'd thought I'd help make this excellent game perfect!

It should actually be the "SS Regiment Deustchland" Bamilus - see my reply to your post in the First Impressions thread [;)]

The GD did not take part in Case White.

I encourage making these sort of observations, suggestions and pointing out of mistakes very much. Like the GD issue. I am compiling a list of everything that comes in and will make changes to the scenarios with the first patch.

Its very much appreciated and your input will help make this a more historical, consistent and detailed game.

Best regards,
Vic

In the Bzura scenario the German 50th infantry division has two infantry regiments and two artillery units while in the Case White has (correctly, I think) three infantry regiments and one artillery unit.

You are correct - my mistake. GD did not participate in Fall Weiss.

Hexagon -> RE: Small Corrections (8/30/2010 9:38:18 AM)

A little question, missing vehicles like Hotchkiss 39, Char D2, FCM 36, Renault F-17 and Stug III are a design feature or we can see in future patches this missing tanks/assault guns??? the really important is the H-39 because it has a better AT punch and was present in important numbers.

Thanks.

There is a little mispelling, sometimes French tank Somua is named "Somoa"

TAIL GUNNER -> RE: Small Corrections (9/1/2010 3:06:27 AM)

Hi, in Case Yellow scenario, German HQs 18A and PanzerGroup Kleist are missing Staff personnel.

Vic -> RE: Small Corrections (9/1/2010 3:44:59 PM)

Thanks for the newly spotted details!

TAIL GUNNER -> RE: Small Corrections (9/4/2010 2:07:31 PM)

Hello,

Noticed in my Fall Gelb game the Dutch have some artillery with German language.
When these Dutch units take losses, they are incorrectly listed as casualties sustained by the Germans....not inflicted. I'm not a great player, but there's no way I'm losing that many artillery pieces.

Also see this on the units 75mm Feldkanone and 10.5cm Kanone.

TAIL GUNNER -> RE: Small Corrections (9/5/2010 6:40:48 PM)

French city of Cambrai at location 55,65 has red roundel but no VP assigned to it.

letarsier059 -> RE: Small Corrections (8/18/2011 4:15:33 PM)

There is no général Bilotte but Billotte.

As well, there is no Grand Quartier Générale, but Grand Quartier Général.

Armament, including the French infantry regiments :

The displayed 47mm mortar does not exist.

81mm and 60mm, both from Brandt, were serviced in good numbers.

There were 9x60mm and 10x81mm per infantry regiment.

As well, HMGs are missing ...

48 Hotchkiss m14 per infantry regiment

PS; the mistakes I quoted in 2011 have still not been corrected ;)
