My game screen says: Version1.0.4.1106g-Jul6 2010 22:38:41

I've been gone since early July and am just now getting back to the game. Do I have the most current version or have there been recent updates/patches? If so, what is the most current version and where do I go to download it?

Note it says July 6. The update version currently offered on the Matrix site states "July 21", but when I download and attempt to install the July 21 version I get a message that says my version is already current. How do I get the newest July 21 version to overwrite my July 6 version?

Where did you get the version you have installed now? What is the public beta that became Patch 4? If so, they are the same - that's why the version numbers are the same - so the date doesn't matter.

I got my current version from the Matrix update site before I left in early July. Now that I'm back I just thought there might be a more current version that was released in my absence. But I guess not. I will proceed with my new PBEM game with the version I have now.

your version 1.0.4.1106g-Jul6 2010 22:38:41 is current version. Jul 6 is not release date of the patch but date of compiling of witp *.exe file (I suppose).

Yep. It takes a bit of time from when the EXE is submitted to Matrix and when the patch package is ready for distribution.
