Vic -> v1.04 players report please (12/14/2010 10:40:40 AM)

Hi there,

Any v1.04 public beta players who can report the game is stable?

I just want to make sure. Not getting any bug reports might also be because of different reasons.

Thanks for posting!

best regards,
Vic

RocketMan -> RE: v1.04 players report please (12/14/2010 12:01:30 PM)

I have had no problems at all with 1.04 beta.

jzz001 -> RE: v1.04 players report please (12/14/2010 3:14:48 PM)

I have had no problems too except my stugIII A missing [:D]

Ken7 -> RE: v1.04 players report please (12/15/2010 2:53:39 PM)

I havent had any problems with the 1.04

Wiggum -> RE: v1.04 players report please (12/15/2010 6:35:21 PM)

Looks like we will see a final version of 1.04 soon... [:D]

hank -> RE: v1.04 players report please (12/18/2010 2:45:41 PM)

I've not hunted for the answer to this so ...

and since its not been said in this thread it won't hurt to repeat it here

I assume you can't resume a 1.03 game with the 1.04 release. Every game I tried to resume a 1.03 game with 1.04, it threw an error during the AI's turn (it actually locked up my 'puter requiring task manager).
But so far games started with 1.04 are OK.

(correct me if I'm wrong ... but regardless I wasn't able to continue on with 1.04 games I started with 1.03)

Which v1.04 version are you using hank?

In the main menu you see a letter after v1.04...

If possible could you email me your bug causing save file to vic@xs4all.nl?

best,
vic

hank -> RE: v1.04 players report please (12/18/2010 11:03:53 PM)

It just says V104 Decisive Campaigns ... no letter behind it. I just checked it a third time while typing this.

ok thats good. you are using the first version of v1.04 i uploaded. try installing the current v1.04 beta patch. it will show v1.04d in that spot. i think your error with the AI will be gone with that version.

let me know if this solved your problem please.

best regards,
vic

oldspec4 -> RE: v1.04 players report please (12/19/2010 10:18:15 AM)

I have been playing Case Yellow as the allies w/ 1.04d. No observed problems/issues.

hank -> RE: v1.04 players report please (12/19/2010 1:52:52 PM)

I have not tried it yet but mine also says 104d and I just downloaded it from the member's area this morning. I'll let you know how it goes later. (so where is 104i ?)

helgi -> RE: v1.04 players report please (12/21/2010 2:51:54 PM)

Hey Vic, thanks for this great game. Bought it, installed 1.04, played through Fall Weiss. The game seems rock solid, I've had it running for days on the laptop, just minimized it, put the laptop to sleep or hibernate, start again and the game just runs error free. And besides being rock solid in terms of reliability, it is also rock solid in terms of serious wargaming. Have been playing wargames since early 80's when the Avalon Hill games ruled the world, have played a good number of PC titles, and must say, DC:WtP is such an excellent piece of work. In my opinion, a must have in every wargaming enthusiast's collection.

Lannes -> RE: v1.04 players report please (1/14/2011 9:18:12 AM)

Hi

When the patch 1.04 final will be release please ?

Thanks for you job vic, great game.

After Warsaw to Paris what is the next front for your game ?

papajack -> RE: v1.04 players report please (1/14/2011 9:15:08 PM)

Yes , when is the final 1.04 ?

Vic -> RE: v1.04 players report please (1/15/2011 2:38:54 PM)

I think it is final. Sometimes the posting in the members-section takes time. Will see what i can do to actually get it there

best,
vic

thanks for reporting.

shame this was not reported before the v1.04d went gold.

can anybody please send me savefile from which this is repeatable too vic@xs4all.nl?

best regards,
Vic

jjwillett -> RE: v1.04 players report please (1/20/2011 10:54:34 AM)

Sorry Vic, hadn't played for a while. There is no point in sending you a savefile as I can just fire up sealion and round one launch an airstrike or attack and as soon as I hit ok after the results are displayed I get the above error. A workaround is to press details first before pressing ok. Happens very regularly after first round as well though not all the time and it can be a few turns before it happens again.
I'm running an xp machine.

thats odd. i cannot repeat it.

please tell me the exact view modes your using (zoom in/out and nato counter display mode) and exact hex you attack with air unit.

your help is really appreciated.

also i'd like your email adress. please send it to vic@xs4all.nl so i can send you a newer version to see if that helps.

best,
vic

jjwillett -> RE: v1.04 players report please (1/20/2011 8:39:10 PM)

Vic here is an example: 1st round sealion. I land a division between folkstone and dover, I then do an air attack on dover, I then press ok and get the error. I am using the normal zoom mode with nato counters. I've sent you my email address.

Josh

RocketMan -> RE: v1.04 players report please (1/20/2011 11:18:43 PM)

The errors I saw in the Sealion scenario was very similar. Always on the first turn and always during an attack.

Vic -> RE: v1.04 players report please (1/21/2011 10:32:24 AM)

Guys, (rocket, jj)

Bug confirmed.

Send a link to patch v2.04g to you both.

If this fixes things with you guys too i will try to get this fix up publicly asap.

best regards,
Vic
