Are we looking at something like what happened in WiR? Where we will have to have a rule that the first blizzard the Russians won't attack, to make it more balanced?

Eh?? No. I am pretty certain the developers will do their best to fix this thing [8D] Germans should get some... AND still launch some sort of offensive on 1942 (as opposed to an all-attack along the whole front [;)]).

I agree. i don't think it is that far from historic as ti stands, depends alot upon who is playing and there play style as well as what the engine allows.

Turn 49

He attacked as shown and for his trouble (he attacked in the wrong place) I cut him off and then wiped out the 6 Divisions surrounded.

Losses so far

Sorry for not posting for a few days, been sick and busy both. Wanted to post an overall situation map at the end of June 42.

so far I have been attacking in various areas, pushing him back and inflicting and taking losses. Am gaining experience and am converting some corps every turn to gain striking power. Can't do that to much as it does thin out my lines but as german offensive power wanes I will have more confidence to take more risks. Notice my tank strength[X(] He pummeled my one breakthrough and it will take time to get more tanks online.

As you retake the larger cities they can be used as your new locations for units being ordered up. [:)]

Just wanted to let everyone who is following this thread (all 2 of you[:D]) that I believe we are going to restart using the latest patch. It is obvious that I am slowly overwhelming him in the summer of 42 and I will post a final screen if he sends me any more turns (forgot to tonight). I believe Belphigor will play much more aggressively in the next game, knowing what he knows now, and especially if he was reading the Charon AAR of his game with me.

Seems like it will be awhile before a full human vs human campaign is finished, with all these restarts following new patch releases.
