Just curious what the Soviet players are thinking about their rail capacity. In my (albeit limited) experience playing the Soviets, it seems the rail capacity is just a bit too high. Since rail points can be modified via settings, I was thinking that in future games this might be one way to help balance things out. Mainly trying to figure out what a good reasonable number would be. Off hand, I was thinking 70% would leave the Soviets enough realistic rail capacity to move some key troops around and get industry evac'd, but wanted to see what the general concensus was here.

You could get by with as little as 50%, tbh.

But there are some changes in rail costs for factory evacuation under consideration.

Ya in the patch i'm playing with its soviet rail costs are increased by 50% (well a bug but should have been) for factories. That feels better.

I will enjoy having to fight to hold cities to have time to get factories out.
