ych -> ai script versus victory point ? (2/7/2011 10:34:39 PM)

hi .
here some questions if somebody have an answer.

i just bought AE "quIte a long time ago" but i never play .... just few hours recently ( not time before ) - a beginner.
i play against japan ai ( awfull .... for many people.... go to pbem .. but not so strange : i play when i have time ... and its a computer game isnt it ? )

here my questiions (sorry for my english,... my third language )

a) I try to understand AI and ai script influences : are ai scripts necessaries ? or are just like boosts , like an help to accelerate ai decision paths ?
b) Without AI scripts , AI can make decision for example .... based on victory point of bases ? or not ? or AI just does nothing without scripts ?
c) Reading some postS i understood that a few people complain about ships teleportation to form tf to perform action of ai script .... but teleportation is it restrcited only for ships (teleportation only for ship and not for lcu or air group ... can someone confirms that ai script use teleportation only for ships ..) ? the idea will be to take a campain scenario and suppress script , to play against an ai that will not use magical ship moves . ( in my only first test of a campaign against ai japan i see KB moving from japan to Truck island in one turn ...)

regards.

Hello ych,

The AI needs scripts to attack enemy bases. Without any scripts, the Japanese AI will not advance.
