Hello !

My (ai-player) suggestion for the future game:

Siginit could be handled like in PacWar.

Give recon capable units (i.e. Emiliy) the possibility to detect specific targets (i.e. ships in port) based on their number, experience e.t.c. (how many ships ? which size ? ...) for a better balance in the intelligence/recon sector.

Possibility to randomize japanese sub doctrine (not only switch it "on" or "off").

Possibility to free troops from China to get them into other theaters in the same manner.

Losses and sunken ship database and programm features to display it in several modes (i.e. as icons on the map to guide the ss in areas of a lot of traffic).

Possibility to randomize the upgrade date of some weapons systems (aircraft) a little bit. The influence of knowing the exact date by history could be diminished.

Possibility to capture ships . In reality the captured merchant ships gave the japanese a little boost in available transport space in 1941/42 I think.

I like the idea of capturing ships as the Jap, no idea how that could be simulated. I remember reading somewhere that 800000 tons of shipping was captured in the 1st 3 months. love to have that many tons available in UV. Actually , that many tons is quite significant. Maybe any ships in harbour automatically change sides if the port is captured.

Excellent idea gentlemen, it would give impetus for one to rush and conquer prized ports. At least as Japanese player, it would not be such a one sided affair. ;)
