I have the same problems as the OP, with textual content in the game. It seems on a Windows 7 laptop with a native 1600x900 resolution, even running in Windowed mode, the problem exists. With Georgia set as the font in the ini file, I had slightly better results by turning off ClearType - however the results weren't brilliant - seems to be parts of the font are not rendered properly, both with Georgia and Courier New. However the "bold" effect caused was removed, by removing ClearType effects. Shame it made using the laptop eye-wateringly painful for the rest of the time. And it didn't fully fix the problem with the games text. Sadly. Here's the main menu - you can see some sort of tearing on the images there.. [image]http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q297/spelkUK/horsemusket1.jpg[/image] Here's the main screen showing both texts, info panel and hove over names [image]http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q297/spelkUK/horsemusket2.jpg[/image] [image]http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q297/spelkUK/horsemusket4.jpg[/image] Here's the popup menu in game, again you can see some sort of distortion in the text used there [image]http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q297/spelkUK/horsemusket3.jpg[/image] And this is in a Windowed version of the game, where the resolution of the laptop shouldn't affect it. I've tried it with and without XP Compatibility mode.
