You're right and it's easy to do. Why? The AGE engine has since AACW a autogarrison feature. Garrisons appear where there is structures( cities, forts, depots). The feature has 2 ais: reduce micromananging and mainly help AI which doesn't know how to garrison structures. I've disabled this feature in FY. There is no auto garrison but events concerning some cities creating garrison for AI. I've chosen to implement this because I'm feeling garrisons everywhere will slow too much offensives, especially for AI whose attacks aren't as quick than those of a player. A lot of small garrison in any town could lose the fluidity needed when some offensives were made over hundred of kilometers in a few months, because of the low troop density. So FY AI cheats less than the offical AGE engine, and the gameplay keeps the necessary fluidity to represent the real war [:)] Of course, my cities list is certainly uncomplete. Next version.[:)]
