SoDak. Pheasant capitol of the world. A friend of a friend has 40 acres of feed plot (!) set up for 'em + another 40 acres of switchgrass cover. Ideal pheasant habitat. [8D]

News is reporting that the Canadians are going to attempt a tow and salvage. If that fails the USCG is standing by to sink her.

Hi all,

I would _NOT_ swim in such swimming pool that high up with just glass sides! [X(][X(][X(]

Just don't add a diving board! The incredible apartments that have swimming pools instead of balconies

By DailyMail UK

Architects have made a splash with a bold design for new towers in Mumbai featuring swimming pools enclosed in glass instead of balconies.

Known as Aquaria Grande, the 37-storey skyscrapers were the result of a collaboration between Hong Kong-based architect James Law and Indian real estate company Wadhwa Group.

The complex would have 200 apartments, three levels of car parking, a gym and sauna.

But not everybody feels inspired by the ambitious vision, with technology blog Gizmodo describing it as an 'architectural nightmare'.

Writer Jesus Diaz claims on the site that the design is a 'deadly accident waiting to happen'.

He adds: 'No matter what you want to call this, I would call it crazy.'

Another blogger for the mymodernmet site, however, appeared to find the idea of swimming pool balconies more appealing.

Contributor Pinar said the design represented an 'unbelievable skyscraping residential complex'.

She said the pools were among its 'most outstanding and eye-popping features.'

Can you repeat that for the real event? Champion golfer skims ball across lake for a hole-in-one in Masters warm-up

By DailyMail UK

This is the remarkable moment when German golfer Martin Kaymer skimmed a ball across a lake to hit an astonishing hole-in-one.

Where most players would have tried to flick the ball over the water hazard, Kaymer went straight for the trick shot - and nailed it.

The crowd went into raptures as the 27-year-old pulled off the incredible feat on the 16th hole in a practise round ahead of the U.S. Masters at Augusta National.

Swing when you're winning: Martin Kaymer hits the ball to send it skipping over the water on the 16th hole at Augusta National:

Incredible feat: The crowd stare in amazement as the 27-year-old's shot skims lightly over the challenging water hazard:
[image]http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2012/04/04/article-2124827-1274CB46000005DC-380_634x396.jpg[/image]

Whether the former world No 1 will be able to repeat the amazing shot during The Masters itself is another matter.

Skimming a ball over water is notoriously tough to achieve, and it is even more rare to sink a hole-in-one at the same time.

One famous previous example is Vijay Singh, who managed a similar brilliant shot on the same hole at the 2009 Masters.

But, unfortunately for Kaymer, producing this showstopper does not necessarily guarantee success in the rankings.

Singh has not won a tournament since his moment of glory three years ago.

Dream on the green: The ball then, unbelievably, curved around to drop into the hole:
[image]http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2012/04/04/article-2124827-1274CB72000005DC-382_306x423.jpg[/image]

Great dress rehearsal: The delighted player retrieves his ball on the par 3 hole as he is cheered on by a stunned crowd:

But Kaymer is feeling positive. He told the European Tour website: 'I feel a lot better about my game this year than I did last time.

'I've changed a few things in my swing and they are working well.

'A few tee shots at Augusta don't really suit my eye, but it's obviously a great course and it's up to me to try to find a way to play it.

'Hopefully playing a practice round with Bernhard (two-time winner Bernhard Langer) will help me.

'The great thing is it's probably the biggest challenge that I have, so I'm really looking forward to trying to win that challenge.

'I'm much more confident than I have been in the past. I'm really excited about it.'
