The GF thinks the third Scorpion King movie was good.

I'm thinking about breaking up with her...

Onime No Kyo -> RE: THE THREAD!!! (4/9/2012 12:40:28 AM)

Hey guys. Does anyone know of any good books on the Syria-Lebanon Campaign? Discovered this topic while browsing Aussie units and would like to know more about it.

Also, can someone please shed some light on the Australian 2/# unit designations? It would seem that the Australian army consists entirely of 2nd platoons. [X(]

The 2/ designator means that the battalion in question was raised as part of the Second Australian Imperial Force (AIF), the successor to the one sent to Europe in WWI.

If you look at the Australian CMF, you'll notice they have no 2/ designator. That's how you tell them apart.

Hi all,

Yep - all things match (except my tail paint detail is a bit different - no white)...

Leo "Apollo11"

The addition of coloured fins/wingtips was an ad-hoc arrangement when Bomber Command restarted large scale daylight raids. Even then there wasn't a standard arrangement for the markings.

Dropped my game against the Allied AI. Now playing against the Jap ditto. I like that better, especially when the Prince of Wales and Repulse get to corner the Hyuga and shoot her to pieces! [8D]

Schanilec -> RE: THE THREAD!!! (4/9/2012 4:13:27 PM)

Hard to think of baseball when it's 31 degrees and snowflakes falling.
Monday morning. Now where's my coffee.

Morning All!!

Posting out the invitations to my wedding today....

I managed to live the life of a carefree batchelor for many, many years, but my girlfriend has got me bang to rights.......

Now I've run aground on a 'reef' of a relationship, and the inhabitants are busy getting to throw me into a pot......( or so it seems, in my fevered imagination [X(][X(][X(] )

I never thought organising a wedding would be such hard work.
