A terrible loss for the hobby and this forum. He was always a voice of reason in the midst of what sometimes borders on chaos... He'll be missed.

kaleun -> RE: Sad News (1/2/2012 9:20:24 PM)

Sad news indeed. My condolences to his family. RIP friend.

rjopel -> RE: Sad News (1/2/2012 9:35:05 PM)

RIP fellow gamer, may the dice always roll your way in heaven.

LST Express -> RE: Sad News (1/2/2012 9:35:28 PM)

Most of his posts flew right over my head but he seemed like a nice guy, I'm sorry to hear of his passing.

tocaff -> RE: Sad News (1/2/2012 9:54:41 PM)

I was a reader that was often lost.

He will be missed here and elsewhere.

jeffk3510 -> RE: Sad News (1/2/2012 10:35:40 PM)

Sad news. Herwin sure will be missed..

DD696 -> RE: Sad News (1/2/2012 10:40:29 PM)

He was a very intelligent and interesting man - one who could have made many more contributions to this game if some of the known Masters of Harassment here would have quit hounding and belittling him so much. I will miss his comments, and like most, had little idea of what he was saying.

My condolences to his family and friends. I wish I had been in his circle of friends.

Sredni -> RE: Sad News (1/2/2012 10:51:37 PM)

Sad news indeed [:(]. Condolences to the family.

Buck Beach -> RE: Sad News (1/2/2012 11:46:35 PM)

I learned in Nov by Private Message that he was only 64 years old. He had some pretty impressive credentials that deserved respect. He like I respected El Cid and disliked Board bullying but he always maintain a gentlemanly presents on the Board.

I will miss his contributions.

Buck

Admiral Mitscher -> RE: Sad News (1/3/2012 1:27:23 AM)

Rest in peace Harry.... [:(]

I am sorry that I thought you were sometimes a bit pompous in your posts, where in reality you were just a lot smarter than me. [&o][&o][&o]

TOMLABEL -> RE: Sad News (1/3/2012 2:19:46 AM)

He will be sorely missed. God rest your soul!!! Goodbye for now Harry......[:(]

thegreatwent -> RE: Sad News (1/3/2012 3:43:17 AM)

R.I.P. Harry. I appreciated your intellect even as I wished that there was an app providing translation for those of us who didn't get past Calculus.

Blacksheep -> RE: Sad News (1/3/2012 4:20:27 AM)

One very smart individual. He will be missed. R.I.P.

LoBaron -> RE: Sad News (1/3/2012 7:45:17 AM)

Herwin? Nooooooo. [:(]

He was sometimes confusing, but more often he prepared the way for complex discussions
I enjoyed very much. If you tried to follow him you always learned something.

CaptBeefheart -> RE: Sad News (1/3/2012 8:51:26 AM)

Very sad news indeed. The average IQ on this forum just dropped a sizable notch (I'm sure he'd have a perfect formula to describe that).

RIP,
CC

goodboyladdie -> RE: Sad News (1/3/2012 10:48:39 AM)

Very sad news. Herwin was one of the most intelligent and passionate members of this forum.

May he rest in peace.

Cap Mandrake -> RE: Sad News (1/3/2012 3:29:29 PM)

Too bad. Very interesting career he had. He sounds like one of those guys who could teach you about science or mathematics just from a walk in the woods.
