also please put a * by the players names in the list that are new to playing against humans , so us experianced players can look for them to ally with.
I would like to see all the new folks get an alliance with a vet.

With the one city start, we could have a truce for x number of turns, this would allow players to expand and when they bump into each other that would be the border.
This would make better countries

The greatest benefit of 1 town start is that every nation has a joint territory. I think that's the most fair start for everyone including the 'new' players. We can give them tips how to expand quickly and build up economy.

1 town start puts a lot of emphasis on starting location.  Some nations WILL be crippled (and some overpowered) from the start if you go that route, absolutely NO question about it.  I am fine either way but just be prepared for this to happen.  It will happen.

Good idea. Getting 14 may be a stretch at this point.

If six people post here saying "start now", then we'll start.

I've no problem as long as you are part of the same alliance.

It will put you at a disadvantage as you'll have to essentially ally before the game starts. You won't be able to see the set up. You might be far from each other. But if you don't have a problem with that...

It'll be great to fill the game with 14.

I don't think casus and his son should have to be allied, I say let him play and how ever things work out is fine with me. Casus has been playing on here for a long time and would never use anything to try and gain a unfair advantage you can take my word on that.

Those who have chimed in do not see a problem with Casus Belli's son playing, and not forcing him to be an ally. I just need an email for the son, and then we can proceed.

The file naming protocol will be:
82-TH-CB-LB-We-H2-JD-Ne-Ja-H1-SG-Al-TP-De-toXX-????.at3

Where XX is the next player's two letter identifier.

Where ??? is the turn number. 001a, 001b, 001c, etc. When the turn gets around to 82ndtrooper it would be 002a.

Example: 82-TH-CB-LB-We-H2-JD-Ne-Ja-H1-SG-Al-TP-De-toJa-005i.at3
5th turn with Nego just completing his turn and jagular next to play.

82ndtrooper = 82
Tophat1812 = TH
Casus_Belli = CB
LazyBoy = LB
Webizen = We
Harley = H2
Jay Doubleyou = JD
Nego = Ne
jagular = Ja
