ORIGINAL: Tophat1812 This brings up the question can a 14 player game actually be undertaken with 14 peoples different schedules? If you can live with taking a turn once every two weeks. This is not my primary game, so I can deal with a slow turn around. However, everyone must be committed to turning the turn around in 24-48 hours. If someone wants to start a 10 player game, I'll join that as well. I'm feeling more than a bit of disappointment over this post. From it i get the impression you had an idea that this game would drag into week plus turns. The expected turn time frame was a major omission in the setup for the game and in pitching it to other people. If we can't gt together and attempt to quicken this turn pace we aren't going to get beyond turn#3. Suggestions? The original "Game Opening" post included... "2) Complete your turn within 24 to 48 hours if at all possible. If you are going to be away for an extended period of time, let us know." Doing the math, one can conclude that a complete turn (with 14 players) might take as long as 14 to 28 days. That was the "pitch". I think I made it clear up front that this was going to be an ambitious project, given the number of players. The intent was to try a game with the maximum of 14 players. The intent was not to have a game where players would get to play their turn every couple of days. That being said, I just completed my first turn in six minutes after receiving it. However, I work at home, so have a pretty quick turn around time. Not all players have that luxury. I understand that you are disappointed with how quickly the turns are being processed. It was not my intent to "mislead" anyone into joining a game they thought would proceed at a fast pace. I don't think I did.
